About Molly
After signing a soccer scholarship at Indiana University, Beckwith only played one season before deciding to switch sports and walked-on to the track team. After one week on the track team, a coach questioned Beckwith’s future in the sport and said that she didn’t see her going very far. However, Beckwith was undeterred and she went on to become one of the best 800m runners in the Big Ten and even set two indoor school records. After falling just short of making the 2012 Olympic team, Beckwith went on to have an outstanding 2012 season as she ran four sub-two minute times.
