INDIANAPOLIS -- USA Track & Field CEO Max Siegel tonight will receive the 2015 Center for Leadership Development (CLD) Accomplished Achievement Award, presented annually to CLD’s “Man of the Year,” an Indiana citizen who has distinguished himself through a lifetime of unparalleled achievement and service to others.
 
This CLD Accomplished Achievement Award is the highest honor presented at the 35th Annual Minority Achievers Awards and Scholarship Gala held at the Indiana Convention Center.
 
Siegel, an Indianapolis native serving as the fourth CEO of USATF, has led the organization to financial growth and programmatic evolution that is unprecedented in the Olympic family, including:

• An 84.2 percent increase in annual revenue from 2011-14
• A nearly five-fold growth in net assets from 2011-14
• 10 partnership announcements, including seven in 2014 alone, and a historic new contract with Nike
• An $11M increase in programmatic/budgetary spending from 2011-15
• A $1M decrease in operating expenses
• The establishment of USATF’s online webcasting portal, USATF.TV
• Program, support and budget growth for all USATF constituencies

As owner of Rev Racing, Siegel took NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program from a grass roots diversity effort to one of NASCAR’s top talent pipelines. No fewer than three graduates of the Rev Racing D4D program now race in NASCAR’s national series, including 2013 Nationwide Rookie of the Year Kyle Larson and Darrell Wallace Jr., who in 2013 became the first African American driver in 50 years to win a NASCAR national series race. 
 
Also in 2013, Siegel launched the Max Siegel Inc. Youth Foundation and Rev Racing Motorsports Academy, both headquartered in Indianapolis.
 
He has served as president of global operations at Dale Earnhardt Inc., Senior Vice President at Sony/BMG, and was President of Zomba Gospel, Tommy Boy Gospel and Verity Records. As a music executive, he increased top-line revenue and reduced expenses to yield record profit in the gospel industry and was on the executive team that oversaw the careers of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Usher.
