Gill Athletics Field Athlete of the Year

In 2008, USATF and its Official Equipment Supplier, Gill Athletics, initiated a field event award to exalt the memory of their founder Harry Gill. An exceptional decathlete, coach, equipment manufacturer and inventor, Harry Gill made multi-faceted and unprecedented contributions to the sport of track and field. Accordingly, the Gill Athletics Field Event Athlete of the Year honors his memory by acknowledging an outstanding and accomplished field event athlete.
